This year's STC France Chapter Annual Conference took place in Paris on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd February 2007, and was organized in conjunction with the STC Trans European Technical Communications Competition Awards event. The theme of this year's conference was "Raising Our Profile". Particpants learned how they could become better known within their company and within the profession, find out how they could broaden their horizons and job prospects, learn new skills, and discover ways to promote themselves.

The first day of the conference (Friday 2 February) offered a series of half-day hands-on workshops led by leading industry specialists, followed (on Saturday 3 February) by a full day of presentations, seminars and themed discussions. We rounded off the conference with a fun evening cocktail dinner event and awards ceremony for this year's STC Trans European Technical Communications Competition. The event also provided a backdrop for STC France's 15th anniversary celebrations.
