Learn, network and grow at the Society for Technical Communication TransAlpine chapter's next conference in Zurich, Switzerland on April 18-20, 2007. Zurich Financial Services, located on the Lake of Zurich, will host the conference. The activities kick off with an optional, one-day workshop on Wednesday, April 18.

The conference continues on Thursday and Friday, April 19-20, with informative presentations, networking opportunities, chapter business, and social events.

In addition to formal learning events, conference traditions include Thursday night's networking dinner. Catch up with colleagues while you enjoy cheese fondue or other Swiss specialties in one of Zurich's traditional Swiss restaurants. Then stop for a schnapps in a local stübli as you explore Zurich's Niederdorf old town.

The Chocolate Chapter's chocolate raffle takes place on Friday afternoon. In this chapter fund-raiser, we'll raffle off the chocolate bars, pralines and other sweets that you donate. So don't forget to buy some local chocolate and bring it to Zurich.
