XML for Writers is specifically designed to help writers, editors, information architects, and managers understand the basics of XML as it relates to authoring information. In this workshop you learn the concepts of developing an Information Model, how to define your own DTD to author XML structured information, topic-based methodology, and how it all fits within a reuse and single-sourcing strategy. In this course the instructor explains how XML and the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) are related.
This interactive workshop focuses on topic-based writing and how information modules can be published and presented to end users.
This workshop is designed for those who need to implement structured documentation using XML. This workshop is beneficial to all parties moving to an XML environment including individuals who are moving to an XML standard such as DITA.
