Celebrate the arrival of summer with communications (marketing, pr, advertisting, media...) professionals working in and around Paris! Mix and mingle over a cocktail dînatoire and expand your international business contacts. This is also your chance to learn more about IABC France - one of the fast-growing, dynamic chapters of IABC - the international association dedicated to communications professionals!
The evening will kick off with a short 30-minute IABC France AGM meeting, followed by a great presentation on 'New' or 'Social' Media and its impact on the industry. We'll honour IABC long-standing members, new members and also welcome questions and ideas from those coming to learn more about IABC France - who we are and what we do!

About our speaker, Sylvia Cambié
Silvia Cambié has 15 years of experience in journalism and communication. In the 1990s she travelled extensively throughout Eastern Europe and Central Asia, from a base in Prague, writing about post-Soviet economic reforms for leading British and German publications. Silvia also worked for nine years in Brussels managing public affairs and PR for the American Chamber of Commerce and the European Savings Banks Group/World Savings Banks Institute. She is currently based in London where she runs Chanda Communications, a consultancy specialized in reputation management, stakeholder relations and new media.
Silvia served as President of IABC's Europe-Middle East Region and next month in July, she will begin a three-year term as a director on IABC's International Executive Board.
Silvia has a degree in Social Sciences and Business Administration from the University of Innsbruck (Austria), as well as being an accredited journalist and a certified coach. She speaks five languages.
